Childers Park

If you’re looking for a beautiful park to take a walk or have a picnic in and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Childers Park is the place for you! This park is located in Monroe, and it’s one of the area’s best-kept secrets.

It features lush green fields, tall trees, and a winding creek that makes for a peaceful setting. The park also has several picnic shelters, playgrounds, and walking trails.

The Childers park was originally founded in 2009 by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department. It was named after former Monroe mayor James Childers.

The park is open daily from dawn to dusk, and it’s a great place to get some fresh air and enjoy nature.

Visitors can also bring their furry friends to enjoy the park too, as it is a pet-friendly environment! Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, though. There are also benches located throughout the park for visitors to take a break and soak in the scenery.

In the fall, the leaves on the trees change color and create a beautiful scene. The park is also decorated with pumpkins and other fall decorations during this time of year.
